A Natural Filling Energy Drink

Banana Date Energy Drink

This drink has a favorite of mine for my lunch, and I like to drink it before and sometimes after workouts. The “Banana Date Energy Drink” is high in:
1. Simple carbohydrates which quickly convert to energy
2. Fiber
3. Electrolytes to support muscle function: potassium, phosphorus, and sodium
4. Essential fatty acids to support body functioning
5. Vitamin B6, vitamin C, manganese it also contains a wide range of other vitamins and minerals

Oh, it also tastes pretty good.

Banana Dates Ginger Smoothie – Strawberries Optional

Ingredients

  • 2 Bananas
  • 5 Dates
  • 1-2 " Ginger
  • 1 cup Water
  • 3 Strawberries (Optional for a berry taste)

Directions

Step 1
Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend. Enjoy

I obtained a Certificate in Plant Based Nutrition from Cornell University. I eat a plant based diet and I am an avid researcher of the benefits of a whole food, plant based alkaline diet. I obtained a BA in Organizational Behavior and Communications from NYU, worked as an elementary school teacher, and have studied social work.
