Lower cholesterol naturally with plant based diet. Plant life doesn’t contain cholesterol, so a plant based diet is a low-cholesterol diet.
I do have to say that as a pescatarian and only eating fish my cholesterol levels were low and were at very healthy levels, and for me other animal life was the culprit contributing to my higher cholesterol levels. My cholesterol levels are at their lowest due to my plant based diet.
We develop high cholesterol levels either by consuming too much food that contains cholesterol, which includes meat, dairy, and eggs. We also develop high cholesterol levels by eating too much food that contain a lot of saturated fat.
I do eat a lot of saturated fat from vegetable sources and my cholesterol levels are excellent, so I don’t think the problem is all saturated fat. I think the problem is cholesterol from animals sources in combination with the saturated fat from the animal sources. Lower cholesterol naturally by reducing the amount of meat, dairy, and eggs you consume, while increasing the amount of plant based life you consume.
