Goji Berry Curcumin Juice Recipe
The Brain Body Energizer! A Vegan Recipe
I am going to show you how to make my goji-berry curcumin drink. I call it my brain body energizer. It consists of 1/4 cup of goji berries, 1 capsule of curcumin, 2 tablespoons of cocunut milk, and 1 cup of alkaline water.
I use goji berries because they are an excellent antioxidant and alkalizer of the body. Studies have shown than a acidic body is a great environment for promoting and sustaining disease. The fluids in the body, the blood, should be at a pH level of 7.4, and as Dr. Vega showed in his goji berry video, goji berries raise the pH level in the body by fighting acidity.
Goji berries also help oxygenate the body and improve blood circulation. This is important because the minerals and oxygen in the blood become more readily available to the organs in the body, which helps to energize the body.
I use curcumin as a brain energizer. Curcumin has been shown to be one of the few substances that can bypass the brain blood barrier. This is important because studies have shown that curcumin can dissolve proteins in the brain that cause Alzheimer’s disease.
Curcumin is not easily absorbed into the bloodstream. Dissolving it in a fat such as coconut milk or oil allows it to be absorbed into the bloodstream. Coconut milk is a very good fat and it contains lauric acid. Lauric acid is an antiviral and antibacterial substance. The only other place lauric acid is found is in mother’s breast milk and it helps babies fight off disease and infection.
I also use 1 cup of alkaline water. Studies have shown that alkaline water with a pH above 8.5 also helps to dissolve the curcumin so it can be easily absorbed into the blood stream, plus I just love getting my body more alkaline. Now lets watch the video…

Was busy searching for child friendly ways to get curcumin into my 3 year old who is in remission for hepatoblastoma, a rare childhood liver tumour. He was also diagnosed with Familial Adenomatous Polyposis which will cause colon cancer in his 30s if untreated. This rare condition is usually “familial”, so passed in by a parent, but in his case it is a spontaneous mutation
The current medical treatment is the removal of his colon and rectum sometime in his teens, dependent upon how aggressive the mutated gene plays out. I have been researching and looking for alternatives to help him in a less invasive way and have found that there are studies into the intake of high dose curcumin to help slow down the rate of polyps forming in the colon and reducing the size of those that do form for FAPPERs! John Hopkins over there in the US is currently conducting a study. I have been cooking with tumeric and adding it to his diet anywhere i can but now will add this juice into his daily diet! Thanks for sharing!
Fiona, I wish for you peace and I wish for your son to triumph over his illness. The combination of curcumin and goji berry juice is very immune system strengthening, and the juice is easy to drink. If you can, please let me know how the increased curcumin helps your son.

I actually was searching for a list of foods that share these qualities: antioxidant, anti-inflamatory, alkaline, mood uplifters, cleansers and healing….and came across your recipe ….thanks you! I am a stage 3 lung cancer survivor(age69), almost 2 years ago. Now, it’s not just surviving, but thriving!
I think my diet most of my life was reasaonably healthy because I love to cook and am attentive to food nutrition, but obviously, my diet wasn’t healthy enough! So I am making changes……researching and putting together lists. I am open and willing to learn as much as possible and to share what I learn. Any suggestions will be most appreciated. I have no allergies and have not been on any drugs since treatments (chemo and radiation) stopped. My energy level is pretty much back to normal and I have a positive attitude.
Wishing you and yours a very Happy and Healthy New Year.
Wow! Congratulations on beating stage 3 lung cancer! That is huge! Bigger than huge! Congratulations again! How did you beat the cancer? Chemo? Chemo-Diet? It appears that whatever you are doing is working for you. I can only suggest that you take a look at this nutritional guide which contains a list of highly alkalizing, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory foods. Keep up your good work.
