Chaga Mushroom Tea – Chaga Mushroom Tonic

Though a bit unsightly, chaga mushrooms are antioxidant powerhouses that you shouldn’t overlook. Chaga mushrooms are incredible dense in nutrients and phytonutrients that strengthen the immune system and protect the body against disease.

A better way to consume chaga mushrooms to benefit from its medicinal properties is the grind the chunks into powder. This breaks the chunks into small particles and allows the body to access more of its nutrients.

Let the powder steep in hot water to help further pull its nutrients out of its cell walls. Don’t strain the powder from the water and consume it with the water.

If you consume the chaga this way you could use 1/4 teaspoon of chaga to 2-4 oz of water and let sit and cool and consume as a tonic.
