Hoboken Train Crash 9-19-2016
A New Jersey Transit crashed into the Lakawana Hoboken train station around 8:30 AM on September 29, 2016. The eastbound train was making its last stop on its line when it smashed into the station.
This incident occurred during the rush hour resulting in over a hundred people being injured. Many people were seriously injured and at least one person died in the horrible accident.
The train’s engineer was pulled from the train and rushed to the hospital, while some passengers remained trapped in thetrain after the crash.
The train came to a halt after it tore through the platform separating the the trains and the indoor waiting are. The train ripped through a wall and metal beams, collapsing a section of the metal roof and causing serious structural damage to the train station.
Jim Finan told Fox News the train never slowed down.
