Alkaline Producing – Mucus Reducing | Nutritional Guide

Wholefood | Plant-based Nutritional Guide

Wholefood Plant-based diet
Wholefood Plant-based diet

This is a specialized nutritional guide aimed towards providing the body with all alkalizing foods and foods that do not case mucus in the body. The guide is based on Dr. Sebi's nutritional guide, which I have had much success with. I never thought I would follow a vegan lifestyle, a soley wholefood – plant based diet. I gradually weened myself off meat and only ate fish. I also didn't eat much dairy, just some yogurt and ice-cream here and there. From coming from being a meat eater to only only fish, and seeing my energy level and body benefit from removing meat from my diet, I really didn't think I would benefit any from adopting a vegan lifestyle. I also thought it would be very difficult for me to remove fish from my diet because and only eat a wholefood plant-based diet.

I ran into information on Dr. Sebi, a herbalist who has been practicing since the 1990's, who claimed to cure diseases by alkalizing the body with vegetables, fruits, nuts, alkaline grains, and legumes, and by staying away from mucus causing foods. He also uses natural herbs to clean the body's cells in the cellular level. Alkalizing the body is based on the premise that disease can only exist in an acidic environment. His approach to disease is that it "finds it genesis when and where the mucous membrane has been compromised. For example, if there is excess mucous in the bronchial tubes, the disease is Bronchitis; if it is in the lungs, the disease is Pneumonia; in the pancreatic duct, it is Diabetes; in the joints Arthritis."

I am a bit pragmatic so I did research of his method and the herbs that he uses, and I found that the ingredients in his herbal tonics are now widely used and are the back bone of holistic health. His approach to nutrition which alkalizes the body is an approach that has found much popularity. Some of these ingredients are burdock root, sarsaparilla, and dandelion, and are herbs that clean the blood and clean the liver. After some research, I decided to give his nutritional guide a try. I developed a nutritional list based on his list, and herbs based on further research. I gave it a try and I am still here doing it. The way I feel is incredible. My energy level is fantastic and I don't get tired anymore, even through hectic days. I thought I would miss eating fish, but I don't even think about eating it anymore. I have loss weight and I don't feel like I am carrying any dead weight. I now sleep heavy and when I wake up, I am fully awake in a couple of minutes.

Nutritional Guide

I am not a doctor and can only tell you what is working for me. This guide is working for me!

Water!

Drinking plenty of water a day is essential to making this guide work. A gallon of water is this guide's suggested daily allowance, because water is essential to a healthy functioning body, and because many of herbs used are diuretics and increase urination to remove toxins from the body. Water is need to remove waste from the body, it cushions the joints and organs, and assists in the absorption of nutrients. The adult body on average ranges from 65% to 75% water, the brain 85% to 70% water, so water is needed to maintain healthy body functioning. ( I now drink ionized water which raises the alkalinity level of the water and raises its antioxidant level.)

Microwaving food is not recommended by the guide because it considers microwaving to damage the nutrients of food

I have found conflicting information about whether microwaving damages food nutrients, with information supporting both sides. I have decided not to microwave my food. Raw food contains more nutrients than heated food whether microwaved or heated on the stove. I rather heat my food on the stove or in the oven, but I eat most of my food raw, blending most of the vegetables, fruit, nuts, and seeds I eat.

Dr. Sebi doesn't recommend eating anything that is not on the list.

As I said earlier, the list is very specific and excludes many foods that are wholefood plant-based. I have added a few items and I will you use them infrequently and sparingly. I will denote these by with this (I added this item).
